July 1, 2009: I have been saying Rain, Rain GO AWAY! all day - and it did. But it came back. Then it was pretty and then the rain came back.We will try again tomorrow, July 2 to hold the Concert and Fireworks. The Swim Team will be back with their bake sale and the pool concession stand will be open. We may be making a few adjustments in opening acts but the Shinnston Community Band will be there.As I left the Park just a few minutes ago, even with it raining now, cars were streaming into the Park. Shows what a following this Band has. The weatherman says only a 30% chance of rain on July 2. Here is hoping for NO RAIN!
