After 13 years of talking about it, the Gillum House finally bought a bike carrier for the car. It is a 2-bike carrier that fits on the trunk, but we can now do a pick-up/delivery between Shinnston and the North Bend Rail-Trail at Wolf Summit for guests at the B & B. It will also come in handy until we get our West Fork River Rail-Trail repairs completed. We have been working around the washout problem but it will be wonderful when it is finished. The bids are out for a concrete span to repair the loss of the culvert from the heavy rains we had in June. Over 14 miles of rail-trail is still usable and open.We have had many guests riding the rail-trail since June both on bikes and with horses.
