My goodness! It has been longer than I thought since checking in!We had a family come for our 18th Century Thanksgiving and then had a quiet Christmas and New Years. As usual, we have had very little snow. Winter is an excellent time to visit the area.Shinnston is getting ready for a new year of activity. With an Easter Egg Hunt up-coming to kick things off, it is going to be a fun year. 2008 is the year of the Shinnston-Lincoln Alumni Reunion so July will not only bring the annual July 1 Independence Concert by the Shinnston Community Band, but I think there will be a second concert for the Reunion. Rehearsals start this month!! Whoopee!! Dust off those instruments you local folks that visit here and come to the Lincoln High School Band Room Tuesday, Feb 19 at 7 pm. Come join us as we "blow our brains out!"
