June 13, 2013 Gillum House Bed & Breakfast: I was recently made aware of an event for the Wounded Warrior Project called TOUGH MUDDER that is taking place near the Hickory Ridge House Bed & Breakfast Inn in Putney, Vermont. She is giving $25 to the Wounded Warrior Project for every 2-night reservation she has for that event.Gillum House Bed & Breakfast is interested in anything having to do with our military as the B & Bs For Vets Program started here in 2008.I am a Firm believer in everything has a reason and there is a reason for everything. THIS very afternoon - since I did the original post here - I had an e-mail from Sara Moriarty, the wife of the warrior Eric (they are watching the Veterans Parade in the photo). She is now an intern for Operation Second Chance, an organization that helped them when Eric was at Walter Reed.Therefore, from now until November 8, 2013, anyone who books the Gillum Room for 1 or more nights AND mentions the Wounded Warrior Project when making the reservation  OR mentions Operation Second Chance, the Gillum House Bed & Breakfast will donate $25 to the Wounded Warrior Project or Operation Second Chance.
